my fuse keeps on blowing and i dont know why??i have a 4gage wire hook up to my capasitor which is hook up to my amp im running two L7's and im using a hifonics amp 2000 watts..i try 3 different fuses and they all blow. i try a 50 amp 60amp and a 80 amp im tire of wasting money. and it blows as soon as i turn on the deck i cant even turn it on or it blows..some one helps please.

I don't think you have a short in your power wire, because that would cause the fuse to blow as soon as you put it in the fuse holder, not after you turn the deck on.

It's much more likely that your amplifier is defective. If it blows the second you switch it on, without any music playing, then the amplifier is definitely the problem.

Need to check all your wiring from the battery to amps you have either a bad route for your wires where you have a Positive on a ground. or a loose end touching ground. either way your shorting out.

what I would do is loose the capacitor and see what happens.

I run in my car two amps 2400watts. 2000w to pioneer 10's and 400w to pioneer 6x9's linked with a splitter, no captors and no problems. The one thing I did different was run a 4Gage wire from Battery ground to engine block and another from engine block to firewall. and only have a 65amp alternator and pepboys battery.

you have a short to ground somewhere in your wiring...break out the ohmmeter and start checking them
