In the eyes of a christian... a decent person who goes to africa and helps out with money raising, who helps the children, teaches, helps poverty and sets up campaigns, but is a muslim DOES NOT go to heaven, whereas a normal everyday person who goes to church every sunday and gives £2 a month to Charity but doesn't help out a lot and sits around on his ars* all day DOES go to heaven. Now are we seeing the type of perosn "jesus" is? O yes, he loves being praised, more than anything else... really. God is really "fair" and "just" isn't he. Jesus his priorities right doesn't he? Does he?

OH the generalities!!! check your premises! Some Christians may tell you that. They are closed-minded. I am a Christian. I don't believe that Christianity/Jesus is the only path to Heaven. It's not about dogma, its not about specific beliefs, it's about being a good person. It's about compassion. Jesus preached love, forgiveness, charity, and compassion. Practice those, and I think you're a-okay. I personally believe that God has NO religion. He loves and accepts all.

That is because Jesus offers heaven as a gift as all men have fallen short of the glory of God. Everyone. Just because you think someone is RELATIVELY a good person does not make then ACTUALLY good. Tod define good there must be some OBJECTIVE standard and God has declared it. The problem is that no man can achieve it. So God, because he loves, offers it all as a gift. and to all.

The fact that God is infinitely powerful and infinite in general and perfect means, precisely, that it is ONLY just if He is the only one worshipped. Would it really be just to worship something less than perfection if perfection existed. It does exist and His name is Jesus. Tehrefore, it is right for us to worship him.

God is really fair =D well it doesn't matter whether u give a lot of money or help alot of people to go to heaven... the only way you can go to heaven is only through Jesus... "I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes through the Father except through me." ~John 14:6 =D

I can't judge. I can say this though, that GOd is a JUST God, and that he will judge everyone according to how they lived their lives, Christ said that not all those who proclaim that he is LORD will enter heaven, but those that follow thh will of the Heavenly Father (Matthew 21). Christians know what Jesus expects of them, so they should be on more alert than non-christians. To those who God has given the faith of Jesus, more is expected from them.

Actually, neither person may "make it" into heaven. Our salvation is not dependent on our works (or "deeds", for my Catholic brethren). It should SHOW ITSELF in what we do, but we do not EARN heaven by doing God and man favors. God cannot be bought.

The "in the eyes of a Christian" part doesn't matter either. What matters most is what God thinks about what we believe in and what we do. He will judge us for both our thoughts and our deeds, not just one or the other!

I'm sorry but I disagree. I don't think either one of those persons would go to Heaven. Yes those things are good deeds, but thats not why we are going to Heaven. I hope you can read John 3:16 and Eph. 2:8. Those two verses state that if you believe in Him through faith, you are saved.

It is great news when anyone helps out his fellow man. The that man should be praised. However, there is nothing we can said or do to get any of us to Heaven. It is by faith alone.

I'm a Christian, but I not saying that man will not get into Heavan. I believe that when he true sees God nature, and true understands the gift he gave us, God will save him.

No. That is not what Christian believe. Neither of what you mentioned would go to heaven. GOOD WORKS DO NOT GAIN ENTRY TO HEAVEN. No matter who it is. Neither does going to church, or reading the bible, or knowing everything about the bible. Believing in Jesus Christ, who he is, and what he did for you, and accepting that, is what gets one into heaven.

I don't know where you get the impression that going to church and giving money every Sunday gets you into Heaven....only belief in Jesus as the Savior gets you into Heaven....if you are going to make statements to get a rise out of Christians please don't make uninformed ones...

Firstly, I tend to think that heaven and hell are fantasies based on OCDs (tapping on furniture a certain number of times before making a decision along with an interest in anybody's body fluids) and passive aggressive personality disorder (there's no guilt; the worst thing is losing face in front of the group).

The Bible says not to foretell the future.

Besides that, Jesus way of feeding people had nothing to do with money. Compare Isaiah 57 and Matthew 14 to see what people do after the death of a righteous person. The crowd that Jesus fed by praying over some food would have had grain and drink offerings with them. The task was to get them to eat it instead of playing weird passive aggressive gambling games with it with their "leaders."

Anybody who gets dressed for money is already at a disadvantage in terms of helping others. It's not that there's not enough food in the world or not enough money.

I'd be interested to know about educational techniques. I've got to look into it more myself as well. Isaiah 65:2 says not to pursue your imagination. Too much education is concerned with guessing what the world is like so as to build up a mental picture of it that "works". The problem is that this mental picture probably needs social support for its existence so it might not cut it in the big wide open world. Keeping people in bondage by educating them how to stay within the bounds of patriarchal communities is not what Christ did. I've read the words of proponents of hypnosis selling where they say that the CIA could do with knowing how hypnosis works so as to defeat their enemies (I think they've heard of it - it's thousands of years old) and that hypnosis has to do with the way children learn to walk and talk. Robert Baker says that hypnosis is socially induced by means of relaxation, compliance and suggestion. Children are much smarter than they are commonly portrayed to be. They are taught how to be addicts from an early age. Why should they follow a "carrot on a stick" methodology in order to feel moral? Why should rewards be put off? The same people who refuse to help themselves because it's not "time" to yet castigate others for wanting to enjoy themselves.

Not to comment on the lifestyle of somebody who sits down all day, but one big difference between Islam and Christianity proper is the idea of integrating various aspects of your life. Islam follows the "different rules for different situations" approach as the ancient Greeks did with music of the spheres. The search for constants is the subject of philosophising with this approach. The Bible advocates for personal integrity. It belongs to your heart, not your ability to plan ahead.

I'm just so angry at the number of people who criticise others over a few emotional brushstrokes of their own imagining.
