I believe I heard and read that with the latest budget one could bring back $400 Cdn with a 48 hour US stay. I don't see that info on any web site. Can anyone verify that and tell me where I can find that updated information?

Yes, the limit was recently raised from $200 to $400 for a stay of over 48 hours but less than 7 days. The limit for 24-48 hours ($50) and over 7 days ($750) remain the same.
