We need to follow all TEN of the commandments! But only Jesus the Christ lived a lived a life in obedience to all Ten!!!
We are living in a time period of GRACE, and Christians are not under the Law since the days of Jesus! But that does not mean we can deliberately break any of those God given commandments, if we can HELP it! We have forgiveness in Jesus, and strength to resist breaking those commandment from the GIFT of the 'infilling' of the Holy Spirit. Indeed, ALL TEN COMMANDMENTS are RIGHT!!!
God bless . . .

If you're not a Christian, why bother? The fact that you're not following them is kinda like the oil light in your car. You can either unplug the oil light (just obey the 10 commandments) or change the oil (accept Jesus into your heart). If you're a Christian, you should be following all 10 of them. Basically summed up in "Love the Lord your God with all your heart" and "Love your neighbor as yourself"

All 10 are still valid. Can you imagine the peaceful world we would have if everyone actually followed the Commandments?

Yes, we should be following them all. This is what God intended for then and now. He didn't say here are my commandments follow whichever you choose. We should be following them all. The world would be a much better place if each of us could just follow ten simple rules!!!

Firstly- which version of the 10 commandments? There are 3 different versions in the OT.
I think 3.5
Thall shalt not:
Kill
Steal
Bear false witness
Adultery (this is the half. consenting adults are OK, and it shouldn't apply to just lusting after another woman, you actually have to take action to break the rule)
For those of you who think honoring your parents is a good idea, you do realize that the bible says that the punishment for not following this commandment is death.

GOD expects you to keep them ALL. James said that if you break one commandment, you are guilty of ALL because the Law was given to us as a whole. At the time of your first sin, you become a sinner in need of a Savior.
Jam 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one [point], he is guilty of all.
Jam 2:11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.

#1 if you believe in God.
#4 because you should honor your parents no matter what religion you have.
Thou shalt not kill, obviously.
Stealing is also wrong.
Adultery is wrong.
And the the 11th commandment, do unto others as you would like them to do unto you. I think this is the most important, not just for the religious but for everyone.

Follow to do what?? You need to be born again and then it will all fall into place..
You can't possibly keep all the ten commandments let alone all the other ones..

Depends on whose list. Catholics and Protestants look at the list and come up with two ways of enumerating them. The last 6 or 7, depending on whose list you use are great for getting along in public.

Yes they are right. Let me ask you this, if you obeyed the 8th commandment (You shall not steal) and the 7th commandment(You shall not commit adultery) then is it right to do the 6th commandment(You shall not kill)?
