Are there any opticians out there that don't wear glasses or contact lenses (and haven't had correction surgery), and have perfect sight? I haven't ever met an optician that has perfect vision - I'm just curious!

i am a LDO in Georgia and i have perfect vision completely uncorrected. So yes there are some out there,

I wore glasses for about 4 years, starting when I was 20. Now I'm trying with contacts, going on for two months and it's ok. Anyway I think I look better with glasses.

Maybe wearing glasses is what gave them all an interest in optometry and why they all chose it as a career! Then again an optician without glasses wouldn't be able to take advantage of the staff discount

I think it's the luck of the draw. They're a member of the population like anyone else and whether or not they wear corrective lenses depends on genetics or other circumstances like anyone else. It has nothing to do with their profession.

Hey, good question. I've never seen one without specs.

But I have seen a dentist with pretty daggy-looking teeth!
