What happens to those few last soldiers waiting for a ride home? They will be defenseless and vulnerable.
Wouldn't it be better to sneak out all at once unannounced?
I mean that is if it is our plan to cut and run.

The last ones out will be masacered, yes.
A more precipitous pull out could be conducted, though it'd be pretty tough on any Iraqis that made the mistake of siding with the US, if they aren't also pulled out.
Remember the fall of Saigon? Ultimately, half a million Vietnamese fled to the US.

How the HELL would he accomplish that logistically? We can't just all flee into Kuwait, or fly away all at once. It takes a long time to transport troops and all the equipment and vehicles, not to mention tearing down FOB's and such, especially at the more permanent locations. You cannot "cut and run" and sneak out. It would be impossible to mask taking hundreds of thousands of Soldiers out of a country.

Nothing would please Sen. Clinton, Reid, Pelosi, et al more than CNN footage of US troops gathered at the airport and "Green Zone" rushing out under gun-fire.
My proposal is to withdrawl... through Iran.

The people fighting in Iraq are not that concerned with us. They are mostly looking to secure power for their sect. It would not be as ugly as you are probably thinking but we would want to pull back and let the Iraqis police their own civil war while we are pulling out.

(Good "cut and run" idea)
If we "cut and run" we should have them all leave overnight.
Maybe we could do that with the illegal immigration on our borders.Remove any miltary,police,armed citizens,etc.from the border and wait for things to "improve".
