I have a Mustang 95 GT 5.0 with only Flowmasters. I have no idea what to do with it or what to do so it can gain horsepower and i am kinda on a budget....I dont know what to do.... Also, my first gear and it kinda sounds like everytime i push the throttle, the engines sounds like something inside seems to rattle. Im not a mechanic and i dont know what to do? Help Anyone! pLz!

I will guess the noise is the valve train pinging. Try running premium gas for several tankfulls and see if it quits.
Wit ha 95, I would be saving money for repairs instead of trying to add more stuff to it. The car is 12 years old and there has to be things coming up that are getting worn. Good luck.

The biggest bang for your buck would be changing rear gears. What you use the car for and if mileage is a concern would help in choosing the right gear. You could go all the way to 4.10 and it would still drive fine on the highway.
Other low budget mods would be pulleys, CAI, headers and a high flow H or X pipe.
I would definatly get the noise checked before I did any mods though just to make sure.
You can get a little free power by advancing the timing a few degrees and removing the air silencer. I don't know if the 95's had one but 93 and earlier did.

The rattle you here is the valves you need to run premium gas for a while and you will here the difference.The flow masters should be OK or do you won,t it to be louder glass packs .good luck with the car.
