I have a recurring dream that it's finals week and I am studying for all of my tests, and realize that I have been enrolled in a class all semester that I forgot about and have never attended. I graduated from college 8 years ago, but I wake up in a panic every time I have this dream. What does it mean?

Being in a classroom setting (whether primary or secondary or graduate studies) refers to your longing for a simpler time. A time when you had it figured out, or at least you have it figured out now. The fact that you are encountering a test unprepared is symbolic of your feeling of 'unpreparedness' in your current life. You worry about things you may have forgotten, and are possibly worried about being unprepared.

Try to organize your daily life to accomodate less, or at the very least try to come to terms with the unpredictability of life. Tell yourself as you fall asleep, "I can take the class again!" This way you'll remember it in your dream and have less anxiety. Perhaps even remember some of the things ON the test, that could relate to your waking life problems.

Hi,
This dream is about where you are in your life at this time. There are some "lessons of life" that you needed to be paying attention to and learning from, but you haven't allowed those things to have a place in your life. You've been doing other things, and now you are not ready for the test that you are facing in your life in order to progress to the next step in your life's purpose. You need to make room for those essential "life lessons" because the test is coming whether you are ready or not. Hope this helps.

You have a big test (point of decision or challenging circumstance) coming up in your life, but you have not taking enough time to prepare for this test. You know what you are supposed to do, but you have not taken the time to do it (in preparation for the test that is coming). It is a warning dream that you need to put more time into this than you have so that when the test comes, you will be prepared and you will pass the test (make it through the situation appropriately).

When we dream about school or college or a learning experience it is our subconcious way of alerting us to a lesson or lessons we are learning in life .

What would you say you were working through in life just before the dream took place ?
What was troubling you that you were trying to find a solution to?
Dont worry this type of dream occurs through life actually it is interesting that this is the first time it has occured to you

There is something that's nagging at you that you keep forgetting about. I've had those dreams and I always wake up in a panic. Think about what has been bothering you and tell yourself before you sleep that this problem is solved and will no longer bother you. That helped me.
