I have never heard a Christian calling atheists evil, if someone calls a atheist evil, that person can not be Christian, Christians follow the words of Jesus Christ in the bible;
"Judge not that you be not judged yourselves. Why note the splinter in your brother's eye, and fail to see the plank in your own eye?
Take the plank out of your own eye first, and then you will see properly how to take the splinter from your brothers eye."

Your question falsely suggests that Christians call Atheists evil, you are talking against Christians in accusing them of that. It appears that it is not just Christians who need to take a plank out of their eye, you do not seem able to see clearly to be able to be fair to Christians.

Atheists and Christians have one thing in common, a firm believe about God. Don't let your believe that God does not exist, blind you from the fact that people who say atheists are evil, are not Christians, even if they say they are.

Edit: You really do need to take that PLANK out of you eye, I just looked at the profile of the person who asked that question on the link you provided. She is making a point, she is an ATHEIST.
Is it a case of the pot calling the kettle black?

I'm an atheist Christian! Well I was baptised but I don't think I believe any of it
I have never called non believers OR believers evil? You sound angry like some Christian has been calling you evil? Ignore them and get over it coz some people will always believe that what they believe is right, even if they don't believe
(if that makes sense!!)

I believe in God and I respect you.

It probably makes it easier that i am not a Christian because I have a fear or Hell and believe I feel like I have to score points with God to be saved but instead be the best Christian I can be for the simple fact that deep in my heart i BELIEVE and being repsectful of others beliefs makes me happy because i am THAT Sure of what i follow?...probably.

What some call GOD (The Universe) gave you 'Free Will' and a mind of your own - If you don't want to believe in a God, the Universe has already given you that right... AMEN (SO BE IT).

Christians, if they truly understand the word of their Lord & Saviour, should be more forgiving - Don't you think?

the element is..you're actually not on the superb area of the fence. in case you talk your self a christian and spend time with people who do an identical, then you definately're not at risk of hearken to them call atheists evil. yet, in case you're an atheist then you definately're greater probable to hearken to that phraseology tossed your way. Why? provided that's what you think and are letting human beings understand that, to that end making your self out to form of be a aim for individuals to assert issues like that to you. So rather, you're able to be on the receiving end with the intention to understand why alot of atheist ought to experience that christians are none too form in the direction of them. In my journey i've got met accepting christians yet..on the turn area, i've got met greater unaccepting christians. I unquestionably tend to work out greater of that for the duration of this website too. dissimilar the christian zealots that hang-out the religion section seem to persist with "my way or the severe thank you to hell for you non-believer!" way of 'accepting' different religions. in basic terms study those solutions -- and in case you place your self into the shoes of people, like atheists, who must be on the receiving end of which you need to discover it to be a sprint offensive. additionally, you're generalizing. not all atheists constantly say that christians are undesirable and incorrect. For the main area..i don't think of they unquestionably need lots to do with christians. it rather is an argument of attitude.

Who's saying atheists are evil?

The Bible says that those who deny the existence of God are foolish, but no worse than the rest of humanity.

Wise up, design demands a designer, art an artist.

Us Christians care about you atheists because unbelief is a dangerous option which you are going to find is wrong.

i'm stating this just for your info. =)

i'm not a christian but a muslim. according to the teaching of Islam, we muslims can never say bad things or calling other people with different belief from us evil or anything bad. Islam teach us muslims to respect others as respect is the basis of human relationship. we should all live harmoniously together with other believers and respect every single rights that they have.

according to muslim's law or "shari'ah", the muslim ruler of a country is obliged to protect other religion's followers @ believers living in their country as long as they (other religion followers) abide the rule of the country and didn't declare war with the muslims. that's the true Islam. we muslims only believe in Allah, the one and only God, totally different from Christians who believes in Jesus.

hopefully u don't have any misunderstanding of Islam. have a great and wonderful day. truly a sincere wish from the bottom of my heart. ;-)

Christians get called many horrible names. I know because I am one, and I've seen it happen. I emailed the person who keeps telling athiests they are going to hell, because the only one who really knows is Jesus Christ. Sorry for her behaviour and any other person of faith who insults you like that. Some people just have a funny way of showing their beliefs.

A lot of christians are a bunch of judgemental people is what. I have been told that I will go to hell for not believing and I find that to be so screwed. I live my life well, with good intention, try to do good by myself and other people, yet I'm supposedly going to hell. Drives me nuts, even if I were a christian, it wouldn't change my life.
