...do we know there was a designer behind that? How about the pineapple? Do we know that was intelligently designed to be hard to eat? What about all the things in the world that suck? Do they also prove intelligent design? Can you say that the platypus was intelligently designed? The sea cow which we hunted to extinction? The dodo that couldn't fly and wasn't even good to eat, but we killed it off anyway?

How do all the poorly designed or bad things in the world factor into the intelligent design argument?

And Sword, so many of the things I list and could list would have to be the work of God (according to you). What is your explanation of those things?

Bruce Leroy, seriously, the pineapple is the result of the fall? Of human disobedience? Seriously?

Every thing was designed perfectly for it's region, an ostrich can't fly also, yet it has survived many years.
If you think evolution is true think of the bombadier beetle which sprays two chemicals into a single shot which explode on contact to damage it's attackers. Now if those chemicals mixed inside of the beetle it would just die.

So let's take evolution, the first two beetle, they both spray and then because they haven't evolved yet they both die.

Hmmmmm...... the beetles would have had to have the chemical mixture point exactly right from the very beginning or there wouldnt' be any left.

The giraffe, dragon fly, humingbird, whale, horse and dog also defy evolution.

You seem to be forgetting that God originally made a perfect world, but because man sinned and brought death into the world we now live in a fallen world. They factor in not because of God but because of man as many have and will point out to you. What you see today is a result of that fallen state to which we are in.

So to answer your question it fits perfectly.

well It sure is interesting all the bad things you have listed that mankind has done.. and you want to blame God for anything..
Lets just take the train wreck.
Who designed the train?
Who maintains the train?
Did the train employees pray before leaving in the morning and ask God to look after the train and it's passengers?
Did the passengers pray and ask God to protect them and give him thanks for all he is doing for them?
I think you see my point, we do things and don't take God into consideration and then blame him when it goes wrong..
