i ask this because me and my wife were waching the show are you smarter then a fith grader. and she beat the pants off me. but i went to college and she didnt. so who is really smarter?

Gender isn't the base of whose smarter of which. It's how people get informations, things, ideas, etc. and sticks with them. Memory that is.

It doesn't matter if you went to college, some people just naturally know things. Plus it's been said that more women attend college then men today.

Its not really who is smarter, b/c every one is different. People learn certain things better than others, so there for they can answer questions better than others.

Woman are not necessarily smarter, but we do pay more attention to detail...which usually means we know more!! Don't feel bad...me and my husband watch that show also...and I always know more than him!!

Neither, we're just different, our intelligence works in different ways.
That's why my hubby does all the DIY, whilst I watch and give instructions, we're simply maximising our joint brain power. At least that's what I tell him ; )

you went to college-smart-but college isn't for everyone. so that doesn't make her any dumber than you. she just proved that you don't have to go to college to be smart.

my mom didnt when to college or either high school...she didn't even finish her grade school...but surely she soooo smart compare to people who get their degree in college....specially on math and spelling my mom is the best...

i think girls are the smarter ones because we actually care about our education and our future, because we think about our kids and what they will live like if we don't care about school and our education.
