Um, yeah, but when you are talking to yourself, people tend to think yer a bit tetched, so we ask each other, so as to ask ourselves without getting sent to a shrink or something :)

I think we all have the potential to CHOOSE to be 'reflections of the one light,'.. self, and therefore each other.....
We are absolutely speaking to ourselves when we talk to another..."we teach what we need to learn' is a phrase that coins that for me.We tend to look at anything from our perspective first...the familiar and to put new things into context...we naturally relate information to our own experience, therefore an internal dialog is ever present while we ask a question of another.
The CHOICE to be aware of the Divine component is where it gets spiritual credibility is my books. Not everyone vibrates on a high plane...there are those who deny the existence of the Divine...they do not share the idea of 'ONE" they are separate from that reality. If we address them with the heart of love...they are given permission to respond on that level for sure but many will NOT choose that way. That is why I draw the distinction between 'one light' and 'one self' and the DIVINE CREATOR
one light....kindred in consciousness (a choice)
one self ....kindred in consciousness ( a choice)
DIVINE CREATOR...that which gives us choice...we are separate until we decide BELIEVE
When I ask 'meaty' questions, I am most definitely aware of simultaneously asking myself my friend/other and the Divine.....I have found when I ask this way truth is invited into the mix and the answer is more meaningful.
I suppose I view myself and other humans as physical and separated from pure communication with the Universal without including the Divine in the forum. So I *try* to be conscious of the Divine in my awareness of all things events etc. in my life.
The times I do choose to be conscious of the Divine component I have more understanding, patience, gentleness, LOVE, kindness, peace.....

what is reflected is not absorbed
this is what i type in the light of the screen
that reflects my shining face
and which ponders very reflectively the foolishness of the question
why me so beautifull in this light and he beyond that face in the screen
that stands before me and types but can not think much more than me who types this in the screen and who doesnt know ...
that is what he thinks i say to myself

Who are we asking these questions of ? . . . Other aspects of our own selfs.
Yes...we are all one...so to ask another is, in a sense, asking our own selfs. Yet that " other " self might be at a different awareness or level of understanding and insight then our own self is...so we wonder, ask, take in and contemplate the reply.

If I ask myself,it's because I'm thinking about it.If I ask you,it's because I want you to think about it
