i got pulled over for having it too dark, what is the california legal tint?

How dark:
Front Side Windows Must allow more than 70% of light in.
Back Side Windows Any darkness can be used.
Rear Window Any darkness can be used.

for which window?
Driver's window isn't suppose to be tinted at all.
Back glass can be any darkness. But, if it's really dark, then you must have both side view mirrors.
Rear passanger (if any) can be any darkness of tint
