It feels like we should burn calories when we strain our brain because it sure can be tiring. However, we burn a minute amount of energy by simply thinking, not really enough to make a difference. Now if you do your thinking while riding an exercise bike, you'll burn calories! :)

Yes you burn calories all the time as long as you are alive. Doing homework doesn't burn many calories per hour though. Not enough to make a difference.

the human body expends energy 24 hours a day it never stops working at a biological level. doing homework is the same thing as being at rest so you divide your BMR by 24 and that's how many calories your burn doing homework per hour

you burn calories with any type of movement the best way of burning calories is running, walking, climbing up and down stairs but while you are thinking you will not burn calories. eat helathy less calories and snack on fruits not junk food you should be on the right track.

Everything you do, including eating and digesting food burns calories.
You do not burn any MORE calories by thinking very hard though.

you dont lose calories by thinking...but u lose about 90 calories while sitting there...even if u are watching tv
