Maybe he has options open, that means that he might like you but at the same time he's liking another girl, Don't worry I think he'll choose you.

Well, as someone who has used that answer; I normally use that answer if one I have a date on that day but I don't know if I will go through with the previous date. Possibly, I didn't feel comfortable being asked out by a friend instead of the actual person I will be dating so I reply with I will think about it and wait to speak with the person I will be dating.

Yes it looks like you are shy.. but that is alright give it time you will brake out from being shy.. on the other hand if you like this guy just write a note to him asking him to go out and give him you number.

Harsh as it is... guy's will go with the best options.... if you are the best option he has, he'll say yes... or if your the only option he has he'll say yes. But if you his 3rd or 4th best option he will either say no, or in this case I'll think about it (translation, not right now, but maybe later)

Ordinarily I'd say that's not a good sign, but things aren't always as they appear? Having your friend ask him while you stood by may have put him on the spot.

he could be shy, and didn't want to say anything that would embarass himself or expose himself in front of your friend.... it could be that he has to think over if he really likes you, because maybe he hasn't reallly thought about it that hard... maybe his needs to ask his parents (as lame as that sounds)?
or maybe, sorry about this, he doesn't like you? if that's true, move on! he probably doesn't deserve you, anyways, if he can't see how great of a person you are.

you should NEVER get someone else to ask a guy out for you. they guy/girl will almost always say no
if he said he has to think about it .. it means he has to think about it, people ask me out all the time and sometimes i have to say ..i have to think about it because i dont know what i want to do
