Yes, I recycle! I think it's very important for the environment, and little trouble. I've always recycled paper, food tins & bottles, my parents did when I was a kid. Only pop cans I sometimes throw out because I used them mostly on the road (at home I don't often drink pop or beer from a can), and since they can't be closed it's a pain to carry it home. Would either have to wrap it in something (but then you'd create more garbage!) or risk drops of soda in your bag.
I guess that's what would make it easier to recycle; stuff that contains food and other sticky stuff should either be closable or there should be recycle bins alongside the trashcans in public places.

I really try as much as possible to recycle and to encourage other to do the same. I certainly understand just how important natural resources & the environment are and just how important it is to save them. It is hard for me to recycle knowing that no more than 30% of recyclable material is being recycled; meaning that at least 70% of what is produced is being wasted (or is polluting the environment). If I knew that statistics were higher, It would be much easier for me to recycle knowing that all this effort is being taken seriously by the other people as well.
It would really be so beneficial if things such as electronical equipment were as easy to recycle as plastic or glass. It is very important because computer hard disks, monitors, and some circuit boards contain radiation and other cancer-causing substances that are either there or build up with use.

I love recycling when ever I can. I love that the local garbage company takes recyclables. I would find it easier if all recycling could be done curb side. I also like to reuse stuff and make junk art. I find my parents very resentful and reluctant of recycling and do passive aggressive things to cause trouble but I don't' know why.

Yes my family and I recycle! In the area of the country I live in honestly most do not recycle. Yes we are educated on why we should recycle. In my area it would be nice if the people who run our "convienance center" were a little more knowledgable. We rinse sort and bag our recycables to have them use the recycling bins for trash because they have run out of room in the trash bins! If more people were recycling then this would not be an issue! The Earth is not our inheritence for our children --- we are borrowing it from them. This is a touchy subject for me.
Peace be with you.

I do. I kind of enjoy watching the recycling bin fill up with all the different containers. :-) I set this bin out for collection about once a month. Recycling is a habit now.
We also take our bottles and cans to the recycling center. That bit of cash comes in handy.

Yes, we recycle. The city in which I live provides literature that tells us what materials are acceptable. We even rinse out our bottles before putting them in the colorful green recycling bags.
We recycle magazines, catalogs, newspapers and cardboard!
I work in a public library and part of my responsibility was with the income tax forms and booklets. At the end of April we discarded into recycling bins around town the booklets and forms. The cardboard boxes were 'broken down' and put out with my recycling.
The more we recycle, the better. It is also good and helpful that the materials we are recycling are put into useful reusable goods.

Yes, recycling is easy for me. Yes, most people in my area do recycle and reuse. Yes, I am educated in recycling. I can't find anything that could make recycling any easier for me -- it's already convenient.

When this city first started a recycling program I thought it was a pain, but now that glass and cans go in a separate container and all paper and cardboard in another, it leaves for very little trash in this household that needs to go to the landfill and I wouldn't even think of putting those things in the regular trash anymore.

I do recycle. I have to take it to the recycling center myself. I do it about once a month. It is the responsible thing to do.
