I realize that someone has used this to explain God at some time and I have never heard the argument. I want to understand the joke. Help me please. I live a very sheltered life.

Apparently on a show that Kirk Cameron and an evangelist have, they used a banana to "prove" God's existence.. Saying something about how it was created in a perfect way to be eaten, etc.. I didn't see or care to see the whole thing, but my understanding is that they were just trying to "prove" the existence of God in what I think is a rather silly way... (And I am a Christian!).

I believe if you go to Youtube.com, you can search for video of them there.

:)

Apparently, there was recently a debate on television in which a theist named Kirk Cameron is supposed to have alleged that a banana is evidence of the existence of god. This link may work to find it:

A religious dude on youtube says" God made the banana for us cause it's easy to hold and eat", little does he know, God created this entire universe and all the animals just for us.

The way God designed the banana....look at how he designed it easily for us to hold, and the top of the banana, made to easily be peeled-- the banana has significance of God's design for the nature of things.

Bananas are not funny - this is not a joke but a very serious discussion. Tomatoes are funny...

It's all about how Christians like to eat them and Atheists like to do perverted things with them.
