So there's guy and he's really great in every way but the problem is this other girl likes him. She now is really terrotorial and is super mean to me and tries to hurt me physically or worse tries to get him to (but he dosen't) She started liking him first. She is really great friends with him but I dont think in a BF/GF way. I think he likes me a bit and occasionally flirts with me and calls me stuff that sounds like honey or baby but dosent repeat it when I ask him to he dosent, but he also is now kinda flirting with this really pretty brunette... he used to be pretty rude and called me ugly and such but now hes really nice to me. we talk and stuff... I am in 6th grade, what are some of the signs he likes me...

So... I am kinda mean to him and i guess he is doing it back. today, we were playing basketball and i accidently bit him and he shrugged it off but i knew he was laughing and later he poked me and i poked him back. this lasted for 10 min

I know you won't listen but...
you're to young to be a GF. I can tell because you, this other chick and and the boy are acting even younger than an adolescent.
Just chill. Try being a friend first. You'll get the hang of a real relationship after awhile. If he let's this other girl tell him what to do and dominate him, what's the point of having him as a BF? Be a friend and you can both mature.

Remember this...he was mean to you! He called you names! It doesn't matter why he did it or when he did it, he treated you poorly. And my guess is, it most likely hurt your feelings. And the fact that another girl is trying to physically hurt you because you converse with him, is wrong! Here's the thing, you're a 6th grader and you're just coming into who you are and if you allow this situation to continue, the teasing, the biting, the occassional rudeness, it's going to have a negative affect on your self esteem. I'm sure you are a beautiful person who will eventually get the right guy...but for now, my advice is to ignore him and his mean little girlfriend. Take control of the situation, don't let it control you.

I wasn't sure until you mentioned what happened playing basketball. HE LIKES YOU. And you like him. Get him to email or IM a few times to test him. If he takes the bait, and you start talking more and more, tell him that you'd like to hang around him more but the other girl makes that hard. Ask him to help. You sound nice.
