He stayed off drugs. That's pretty rare for child stars.

I am a huge fan of Kirk Cameron. Not only was he my teen crush (and many other young adolescents of the 80s). As a parent, I now watch some of the reruns- they are quite applicable. The character Kirk played was an adorable, gifted, smart alek. You just had to love him. But now that Kirk's been saved, he sets a good example for everyone as a person. I really admire his dedication to helping others and helping them to know Christ. I watched his special on the steps of helping someone believe in God and I've followed his example, and hopefully changed some hearts and minds. Also, I loved the show where he talked about his experiences on leading friends to receive Christ. I had never done this before, and it really gave me the confidence to talk to others who I knew hadn't accepted Jesus as their personal Lord and savior. This is life/ eternity changing stuff here. I only wish more people would follow his example of living a life for others and using their fame to benefit the world. I also liked the Left Behind Movies- even though they probably could have used a bit more financial backing.

I'd love to get to meet him. He seems like a friendly, down-to-earth kind of guy. I'm not sure why people bash him for taking his faith seriously and not just leaving it up to pastors and deacons. Lord knows, the deacons won't get off their tushies for one second to visit people. Actually, what is it that deacons do? Oh, I remember...they take up the offering.

He's a devoted husband and father. He's a good person, whether or not we agree with his beliefs. He has good intentions, either way. I don't think there's anyone that hates him, but we just need to bust on him about the crocoduck thing.

I really liked the Left Behind Movies.

Hard to translate the books using a fairly small budget, but, they were reasonably well acted and produced.

Good actor. Good producer.

his awesome post Growing Pains career proves god has blessed him, unlike that evil secularist Leonardo De Caprio who was also on the show, he just disappeared after growing pains while the Legend Of Kirk continues to grow.

Bananas will never be the same. Every time I look at a banana now I am going to laugh.

The nicest thing about Kirk Cameron is that he has a great passion for his beliefs and he is trying to be a better person through his faith.
