Hi Schneb-

Interesting variety of answers so far...

We are "congregating" here to spread the Good News of salvation through Jesus!

My family attends a Sabbath keeping, evangelical Christian, non - denominational fellowship here in the great North West. It is interesting that people call the North West God's Country (for the beauty) but it is the most unchurched state.

One of our offspring may have the gift of evangelism, as they are always inviting people to worship with us. Praise the Lord.

Another offspring drives to the nearby metropolis to take part in a street ministry each week!

Mr. Redeemed is especially blessed by this church, it has all of the elements that he has wanted in a church for a great many years and God placed it in our own backyard a couple of years ago!

What makes me me? Psalm 139 comes to mind.

I am a Christian, a daughter, wife, Mom, sister, (sister in law :), friend, homeschool teacher, bible study teacher for kids and teens.

Keep on sharing the truth of the Word of God, Schneb, and thanks again for praying for me and helping me sort out scriptures before and after I was saved!
-Redeemed (sister in law of Schneb)

Hi Schneb,

I'm one of the more recent additions to your fans. I had taken particular notice of your answers on several occasions, while usually thinking: "Yeah, what he said." and not bothering to answer since you already expressed what I wanted to, except better than I could have.

I live in New-Brunswick, Canada, and attend Pathway Church of God.

About me: I'm 30, married ten years, with no children but two cockatiels that I view as such. I'm an avid reader, artistic and an internet addict, though I must say I don't spend quite as much time on Yahoo Answers as you seem to, lol.

hmm, 1st Christian Church of Ya hooligans! Rev. Schneb, presiding. (seriously, I enjoy reading through most of your answers... they are really insightful and Biblically based

I consider myself a catholic Christian. Note (pun not intended) catholic with a small 'c' =all-embracing. I was baptized & confirmed a Lutheran. I joined the Roman Catholic my first year in college, and was Catholic for 25 years. Two years ago, I rejoined the Lutheran church where my father worships. I still go to Catholic services from time to time...like this past Lenten season. I went to Stations of the Cross at a local parish. I have friends from both denominations. My baptized-Lutheran 'godson' is a member of a Wiccan Circle =/ I continue to pray for him even though he is an adult now. I'm the only kid of 5 that attends church with any regularity.

Oh, and I am located in the Twin Cities metro area in Minnesota.

Schneb, I'm a Christian in Michigan. I don't attend church very often because I manage a restaurant. And Sundays are busy, so I typically have to work on Sundays.

When I do attend church, I prefer a contemporary style of worship. I just don't get into hymns as I spend more focus on coordinating the lyrics with the right notes. With overheads, I don't have to do that, and can be free to harmonize with the music. That way it's from my heart in love to God.

What makes me me, is that I'm a Christian under construction and very curious (hence my name). I've also had a lot of barriers in my life to overcome. And I'm blessed because I just finished my bachelor's degree, 23 years after I got my associates degree!

Otherwise, I'm a mom of two girls and married and live in a community where my kids are very safe and we have two cats. We don't have TV, because TV shows caused TV remote control fights, and "can't we wait until the show is over", so we don't have TV here, but we do have a lot of videos. For relaxation, I get on here.

I'm also a strong believer in life, but because I realize that outlawing abortions won't protect life, I prefer to work on treating the root causes of abortion. One particular reason is that so many abortions are based on a women feeling like they cannot adequately care for a child (and it's very hard to give up a life that grows within you for 9 months). So, I'd rather treat the root cause, which is providing a way for moms to have a life for their families.

So, by working in management in a restaurant, I get to help my family, and help others to make a better life. My goal is to help these workers become their best - some of them move on to other employers and others can be developed to higher positions in the restaurant.

Thanks for the microphone, Schneb, and now on to the next person.

Hello to you. Thanks for recognizing your "fans" (by the way - it's a-ok if you call us fans, because that's how Y!A classifies us.)

I'm a wife, mother and self-proclaimed Jesus Freak. I live deep in the heart of Texas - the left ventricle to be more precise. :-) I worship at an inter-denominational church regularly and sing with the praise and worship band.

I like to "hide" behind plants and such when I sing and would rather do it from behind the curtain. I get concerned that some people will mistake anything pleasing coming out of my mouth with something that I've actually done vs. the Grace of Our Father.

That - and I do look strangely like my avatar.

I live in Oklahoma. I am a mother of 4. I do not regularly attend church but would like to find one where I feel at home. I am going back to school to become a teacher. I suffer from depression and I am trying to quit smoking. I am twice divorced and used to be an addict.

As long as all those fans are gathering together to lift up the one true God :)

I appreciate your matter of fact, sensible and Biblical answers.

I am in Washington state, between churches right now. I would like to be in a Messianic fellowship right now, but there is not one in the area. In the meantime, I meet regularly with like minded believers, homeschool my children, minister to single mothers and am getting ready to be involved in a ministry that reaches out to battered women and their children

You probably won't know who I am, but I have been a fan of yours for awhile.
I live in Southern Alabama, although I grew up in upstate New York. I am a Mom and a Grandma, and a devout, although somewhat untraditional, Christian.
I am also, (and this I am very proud of), the author of "The Book of Barabbas".
Most folks who know me either love me or hate me...I do hope you will be one of those who likes me....
