don't actually read the question properly. then answer in a ever so high and mighty tone, thinking they are clever at what they have said but in actual fact they just look silly because they have not registered what you have said or stayed with the point you are making

No, not really. 90% of the time I get my questions answered properly. I get the occasional funny answers, but that does not offend me. Some people do not know how to 1.type 2. use good grammer 3. make sense 4.have a question with answering.

I've seen this occur quite frequently among answers, although I've asked very few questions. Personally, I choose not to answer a question unless I've read the details thoroughly and feel that I have something to contribute to the entire posting, not just a partial answer. If I have a partial answer, but I feel it could be a benefit to the person asking, I'll sometimes provide that information but explain my reasons for not addressing their full question, so that hopefully the people looking for answers will understand that I wasn't ignoring their full question.

Yep! That really annoys me. I swear they just read the question and not any of the info.

All I hate people who answer questions they have no idea about and put something like "I've never heard of that band." It's just rude, stupid and unhelpful - it's not that hard to get points answering questions properly.

A lot of people on here end up looking silly don't they? haha

Definitely,I must admit to being guilty of that myself,I tend to read the first few lines sometimes and then go off in a tangent only realising after that i have missed the last few vital words.Sorry.I try not to do it any more though.

Yes i find that a lot.
They give a very opinionated answer but clearly haven't read the question properly.
It's annoying

All the time and it makes me really cross when they take that high and mighty tone!

Yes. Often. People are not serious and answer questions sarcastically. Also many questions are incomplete, irrevalent or grammatically incorrect.

Yes I also find that people also answer just for the points too with ridiculous/pointless answers, this really annoys me, don't know if it's just me that feels this way but I'd rather have answer's that helped me than just a "I don't know!" or "Thanks I just got 2 points for this!"
