I am 15 years old, and way over weight. I know you people think that its just baby fat or that it'll even out eventually, but it's not. I gained 90lbs by taking medication. I was really good looking a couple of years ago, and I want that back. I just want to lose 50lbs of it, and I want to know the best way and if it's even possible with the amount of time I have. I am a vegetarian, so no all protien diets or anything. My main problem is that my mom is really bad at shopping and mostly goes to places like McDonalds for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I want to lose this weight (50 pounds) before school starts next year. School starts on Sept. 6 or 7, so that gives me 17 weeks, or about 4 months.

Please, I am so over weight, I just want it all gone!

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

USE THIS SITE!
Its soooo awesome! Really!

www.calorie-count.com

It will tell you how many calories you need to eat to lose weight and you can record your food intake on it.

As for you mom... Did you ever ask her if you could buy some other foods? Otherwise, I know its bad, but you might need to skip 1-2 meals a day if thats all she buys.Or only eat half of your meal and throw the rest away. That will cut your intake in half!

Unfortunately, the average, healthy weight loss amount is approx 3 lbs. per week. The best way to lose is to get out there & walk a brisk, steady pace. Do not stroll. You have to get your heart rate up to burn fat. Fat makes us fat. Use fat free & low sugar products. Drink Diet sodas instead of regular. Our bodies burn carbs found in sugars befor it burns the fat. Eat baked instead of fried. You could even eat frozen dinners by Smart ones, Healthy Chice, & weight watchers. The key is exercise & walking & swimming are the best.

That's your problem, Mc Donalds. I really feel for you. And I want to help you. I am glad u are reaching out and trying to get help now. You are young, and producing plenty of growth hormone still. It's easier for young people to lose weight. First of all. Don't worry so much. Cut out Mc Ds. Focus more on a health diet, that keeps your hormone levels balanced, including your thyroid. Chances are very high from what you are telling me, that you have a chemical, and hormone imbalance. Did you know that the human body produces some 3000 different hormones. An incredible mechanism like that requires some respect. And it isn't all that hard to get it back on track. First of all, I recommend a body and liver cleansing making you digestive system a lot more effective. A lot of people are walking around with hardened fecal matter in their intestines. Cleaning that out alone, probably will make you lose quite a few pounds in itself. health food stores have colon cleansing herbal formulas. You also have to take milk thistle followed by a lot of water or for example , green tea. You could fast one or two days of the week , spaced a few days apart, using the milkthistle and tea during the fasting. Now that your system is clean, you will automatically have more energy, and less fatigue. Now you have to build up and strengten your intestines, and make them more flexible. Lots of Beta A carotene. I concider it a master vitamin, on top of the pyramid if you wish. It help the the prostaglandons in the tubular tissues(intestines, aortas and other tubelike organs) produce the hormone prostaglanus which makes the walls strong and supple and less likely to build up fecal matter, and in veins, less likely to biuld up hardened colesterol.

So, you begin your day, by doing abcontractions on an empty stomach, deep breathing to strenghten your lungs(carburator). Maybe drink a little coffee or something with fiber to have a bowel movement. You should have a bowel movement every morning, about the same time. That why they call it regularity. This will in itself help you lose weight.

You should eat a healthy high protein breakfast, so you have plenty of fuel, and energy to burn throughout the day. This will make you less likely to get hungry all day. Breakfast is the most important meal, and it gives you a lot of nutrients, and energy to deal with the days activities.

Before you eat the breakfast, take vitamins(preferrably liquid formula more readily and efficiently absorbed by the body) complete with enzymes, minerals and vitamins, in addition to this, take dhea, chromium picolinate, cinnamon tabs, flaxoil tabs, fruit enzyme(papaya)tabs, cayenne pepper pill(makes the brain produce a natural stimulant/endorfin, cuts colesterol, increases circulation, and boosts metabolism), Beta A carotene, hialuronic acid(tightens the cell junctions, lessens intracellular flab, and tightens you up on a cellular level throughout your whole body, and strenghtens your cennective tissues and ligaments, and muscles), aciddophilus tabs. about half an hour after eating, you growth hormone production is at it's peak. Go for a long relaxing walk. You don't have to "kill" yourself with exercise. Walking is so good for your main muscle, the heart. It has to be exercised, take deeep breaths as you walk, and you will feel invigourated.Take long strides. did you know that when you move your arms and legs back and forth, your joints are producing a lubricant hormone that keeps you flexible. Swing your arms back and forth. This is also very good for yor heart.

Take these supplements with orange juice full of potassium. Then eat a healthy breakfast. Replace your bacon with smoked turkey bacon high in protein. Eggs are ok. eat high fiber whole bran bread with your breakfast( also take fiber tabs, it makes most of the fat in your meal not "stay" in your body.

For lunch, eat a salad with blue cheese, cottage cheese, ham,or turkey, chicken, followed by a little yogurt and strawberries.

Don't eat any more high protein , high starch, high sugar foods the rest of the day.

you can in the afternoon, if you like, eat low sugar fruits or vegetables, or rice cookies to keep hunger away without putting on much weight. flax oil tabs will also make you feel less hungry. So will those supplements you take before eating. Because your body has been given all the things it needs , you are less likely to have food cravings. You have cravings in the first place, because you body is trying to satisfy a nutritional need, and balanse itself out chemically, nutritianilly, and hormonally. You'll find that when those needs are met you'll feel satisfied, fit, happy and all of a sudden, you'll find that you're no longer fat. Peple are fat because they are eating WRONG. I'm a 42 year old mom, and I'm in the greatest shape ever. I live by my nutricious religion, and it works. Oh, I forgot, the colesterol cutting power of garlic or garlic pills.
Ciao, and have fun with it. Maybe your mom can even join you. I don't think it could hurt her. Irene....
