just wondering about the ratio of people present here in R&S

i'm an adult, btw.

(oh, and i'm not trying to say teenagers don't have every right to be here as adults or that they can't also bring something to the discussion. i'm just kind of curious)

I think I understand why you might have written this question. I'm older, but will never admit it. I've actually had people comment that I'll never be old. Good, who wants to be old.
When I first got on this site I thought, man there's alot of silly a*s questions on this thing. Then I figured one or two things, and maybe a little of both. Alot of young kids, alot of not knowing about stuff kind of people, or a mixture of both.
After my first week I was pretty fed up with this site and was thinking, isn't there a site that seems more like my age level. I never checked into it and most of the time glad I didn't and still answer questions.
Trust me I don't pretend to believe I have all the answers to all the questions, far from it. But I have lived quite a life, and do remember my teenage years and how crazy they can be. I thought about the young kids out there and some of the questions I've read and think they are turning to others for help because they possibly don't have anyone else in there lives to turn too. I was there, and that really sucks. So I thought I should stay, just in case I can say something right to someone that could help them out or even change there life, maybe even save it. MLJ

I am a bit puzzled as to what that has to do with religion or spirituality, but I am going to be 57 next month, so that makes me an adult, I guess.

I'm a 30-something.

Teens or adults regardless, I'd say the average mental age on this board is about 4.
