Some refer communism to atheism. So as an argument I wanted to know what christians thought if they should be correlated to a Theocracy?

Theocracy is rule by God. No human attempt on earth to bring about a theocracy can succeed. It is the height of presumption to call any religious organization theocratic. In heaven there is theocracy, and God's will is done 100% there, for God sits on the throne. However, God's will is only partially done on earth, even by Christians and others who have faith in the One God, creator of heaven and earth. They are trying to obey God as their ruler, but none succeed, so every time they fail, they bring reproach on God's Good Name if they dare say they are in a theocratic religion / organization. Christians should be seeking to obey God as ruler here on earth, and praying earnestly for God's will to be done on earth, as it is in heaven, but humility demands they avoid telling others that they are in a theocracy when their religious rulers are sinful men.

It's apples and oranges here. There is no real comparison. I've never heard of a trend where commies were atheists and vice versa. I've never heard of Christian theocracy either, with the exception of those who play politics when they shouldn't. I know how many from one side of the aisle liked to call GW and this administration the NWO and alleged that they're creating a theocracy, but that's just about impossible in this nation without a hostile takeover or us laying down and taking it (which, I think we're working on now anyways).

To equate atheism with communism is the worst sort of peasant ignorance.

Many "Christians" would like - or think they would like - to be governed by a Christian theocracy, but that's hardly the same thing either.

Maybe you should look up a few words in your dictionary.

No one of The True Christian Faith would support a so-called "christian" Theocracy... or any other theocracy for that matter... a Christian Theocracy would be against The Word and Will of God..... The Word of God may not be imposed upon any one.

Shouldn't Christianity, as seen in the early church (in Acts 4:32 on) be much closer to Communism?
"no-one said that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had everything in common."

And it's certainly quite possible to be a Capitalist atheist.

there have in no way been any non secular communist countries. all of them are formally atheist. i do no longer understand approximately laying blame yet they relatively pass hand in hand. have you ever observed that taoist, confucionist, and buddhist coutries are ruled by potential of authoritarian regimes the place certainty and justice as political techniques are invisible or non-existent? and that many of the main revolutionary political strikes in history have been inspired by potential of Christianity, beginning from the founding of the hot worldwide colonies to the abolition of slavery to the civil rights stream? right here's a riddle for you: Q whilst will a buddhist paintings in earnest to save his brother? A in no way. Christianity tells us that we are all in this together, we ought to love one yet another, and seek for God and certainty. Many attempt to pervert this message or masquerade it around to realize some credibility. yet what do atheists and Buddhists let us know? That it is all relative. that no one cares. there is no longer something very own. it is in basic terms no longer genuine. And all that assets you concept you have been going to ruin out with? you're no longer likely to ruin out with it. Peace to you.
