So as part of his usual chores, Bobby, a little boy, is expected to go outside each night after dinner to fetch his father's late-edition newspaper. The family lives on a farm and the driveway where the paper is delivered is a long one.

Come winter and the earlier, darker nights, Bobby begins to show some serious signs of stress at the prospect of going outside, all alone, to march down the driveway.

His mother asks him why he's being so nervous. "Mom." Bobby confesses, "it's just so dark out there, I'm afraid."

The mother says, "Bobby, my darling child, you must know that, no matter how dark it may be, Jesus it there. Jesus is out there, behind every, scary tree and in every shadow."

With this the boy lights up with a huge smile of relief and his mother blushes with Christian pride. Then Bobby sticks his arm, and only his arm, out the door and yells,

"Hey Jesus! Long as you're out there, can you hand me the paper?"

Was is Bonsai Bobby?....

Either way,I liked it.

"Except you become like little children, you will not inherit the kingdom of God "

Child-like faith is what God is looking for also.

that is precisely why Jesus was quoted to have said that unless one becomes like little children & believe one would not enter the kingdom of heaven.

the next question to this riddle would be, if "someone" handed Bobby the paper, would it be enough to make one to give Jesus the benefit of the doubt & at least look at everything written about him with an open mind & an open heart.

LOL

Is this really a theological conundrum or a funny joke? Do you really want a theological answer? I could give you one if you want.
