can you recomend a good dvd burning software that can burn movies quick and not hours. I have Nero burner but i dont know how to just burn a movie to a disk quick. can it be done on nero or will i have to use new software?

When you burn a movie to a DVD, it needs to convert the video file into a format compatible with DVD players. That is what takes so long, not the actual burning, but the conversion process. There is really nothing you can do about it besides upgrade your computer to a faster one (CPU mostly).

it depends what version of nero you have...
the newest one (nero 7 ultra edition) lets you create an entire dvd with a menu and all that jazz..
another quick one is sonic...
