Cats are nocturnal, but usually they adapt (Somewhat) to human lifestyles. Assuming she has no health issues, see that she gets alot of exercize/play, during the day, so she will sleep better at night. Make sure she has a nice cozy and secure place to sleep.

Is she spayed.....she may be in heat....does she crouch real low to the ground with her butt in the air..... and when you touch her she meows or purrs or rolls around......if so take her in to be fixed...she will go into heat for about 1-2 weeks and then out for 1-2 weeks and she will do this until she is caught (bread)

if she is spayed then you may want to call your vet...the best would be to have her checked out...there could be a million reasons why she is yowling....is she deaf, does she have a urinary problem, any other sickness, is there strays outside....the list goes on.

This may sound stupid, but do you check to see if she has water and food every night, my cats meow if they are out, but i also have more than one, and just make sure she gets enough exercise during the day that way she will be more tired come nighttime

There's a lot of reasons. Is she spayed? If not, please get it done soon. She could well be in heat. She might also be bored, hungry, playing, thirsty, in pain, stressed out etc. Try and figure out if there's anything that she needs, like a water bowl refill, some food or lots of love and attention. If none of that seems to be the problem, take her to the vet as she may have something wrong that's causing her pain or distress.

Is she running around as well? My cat Tigger started yowling in the night, all night long, and was also running round the flat. After some tests, he was found to have an overactive thyroid and had to have an operation. It might be worth getting your cat checked just in case.

My cat does the same thing except its a male cat. They only do this to get your attention. Either they feel lonely or they want something from you.

Oh god, she's in heat. That SUCKS! DON'T let her outside and get her spayed really soon. before she gets pregnant. I don't know if you have SNAP trucks there... they will spay your pet for like 20 bucks. it's really important that you spay and nueter ALL of your pets. Please try to get it done soon. Sorry you can't sleep... i know what that's like.
