A big reason that the vitamins in some stores when it comes to the higher amounts is for business reasons. It's one reason why the FDA is looking in to changing the law some to make it so that drs are having to monitor the situation a bit more closely.

I do take a multi-vitamin every day since I don't eat as well as I probably should (because of the cost of some of the fruits and veggies out there).

I take B Complex (which also includes B 12) to help with relieving stress. I'm also told that B vitamins are good at helping the nerves to heal (this is according to my Pain Management dr).
