God DOES heal people who pray for healing. He just doesn't do it the way you are thinking. People who ask this kind of question are missing the overall picture here. God isn't a vending machine where you push a button and get what you want. No one ever said he was. Life is hard. Thinks don't always go the way you want them to. But if you pray, you will be better able to deal with difficult situations such as illness and disease. In the end, however, most people who believe in God believe that life is eternal. Whether or not you are healed right now when you pray is irrelevant in the overall scheme of things. Jesus recognized this as well as anybody.

Do you mean Yahshua? Yep!
Pro 28:9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer [shall be] abomination.
You are causing your own sickness!
Proverbs 26:2—
As a fluttering sparrow, or a flying swallow will alight, so a curse causeless will not come.
Galatians 6:7-8—
7 Do not be deceived, Yahweh is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that will he also reap.
All of these curses are caused by mankind breaking Yahweh's Laws. Mankind will finally admit this, as they will see it for themselves. Yahweh is allowing rebellious religions and governments to prove the inspired writings of the Apostles, true. The world is now finally admitting to causing the curses. Notice the following news articles.
Yahweh warns mankind that if he breaks the Laws of health he will reap destruction upon his own body, by sickness and disease. At this time, everyone in the world is suffering from diseases that have been bred through fornication, adultery, sodomy, bestiality or eating the unclean foods listed in the Holy Scriptures.
Mattithyah 19:17—
But He said to him: Why do you question Me about righteousness? There is only One Who is the standard of perfection, and that is Yahweh; so if you would enter into life, keep the Laws of Yahweh.

I have to look at this in analogy form to best explain. And remember that I'm not God, and have not been to heaven to speak with him personally, so this is just my theory here.
A few months ago, there was a lady in my church that stated that she started to think of how many people pray and how many prayers are said every day by people who believe in God. (The movie, Bruce Almighty, gave a good analogy of this). If there are almost 5 billion people in the world, and even 3% of the world believes in God, if each of these people prayed only one prayer per day, that would be 150,000,000 prayers per day to filter through. Try listening to 150 million requests PER DAY and see how well you would do. That's just ONE request per person per day, and most Christians pray more than one request per day.
If you were God, you would have to filter those 150 million prayers between the serious prayers and the prayers of those that are not that serious. Such as "God, help me to win, or help my team to win" prayers (where there are prayers on both sides) and also prayers that are legitimate ones, such as praying for healing.
How well would you do in that situation faced with that many prayers coming through in one day?
I'm not saying we should never pray because there are too many prayers being said. No, I still believe in prayer and know I've been blessed with a lot of answers to prayers. But I also know that sometimes, we have to be patient because God is a pretty busy man.
Just think of having all of those prayers said 24/7/365 and some of them are only for requests. Many of these people don't give God a 2nd thought when things are good. They only want something from God when it's to their benefit.
So, would you please consider that God just might deserve a little slack from the critics? And once in a while, he might also want something nice said about him?
I just am thankful that God loves me, a person who makes mistakes, and that he does care about me.

Alright. I am gonna disagree with you strongly here.
I am a FIRM believer in the power of prayer. More importantly, I am a firm believer in the power of our words. Did you know that we have the authority to call our afflictions by name and demand them to go?
If people only KNEW the authority we have over the words we speak! Good or bad!
I know that is a little out there for ya-but it's true Meaty!

listen, our father is all knowing, there has to be a balence, if too much is given everyone becomes dependent, if none is given people lose faith, this is called karma, your level of faith and belief determines our fathers level of comentment to you. he has given you a choice, you decide.
