This is a very good point. During research, they have found most tires blowing out are from lack of tire pressure. Not from a default in the tire. But I bet if you asked people if they knew how to properly check the tire pressure, you would get a dumb look. I think this should be a requirement on drivers examines, that you show the instructor you can properly check your tire pressure.

for a standard p tire (passenger car tire) the recomended pressure is about 30-32 psi (pounds per square inch) and your tire should also be torqued down to abous 50-60 foot pounds as that can also cause accidents and when you fill your tire you should then balance it as well
