would you have done if you saw this?

This guy looked to be in his mid 30's, and I know he was making prank calls to a co-worker because he would get on his cell phone and call up another co-worker to see if the other guy was at his desk.

Sick or funny?

I thought about "telling" on him. I mean every 5 minutes he was at it!!!! Must have pranked the poor guy at least 50 times!

I have to say, the fact that he was doing it so "blatantly" was stupid. I"ve actually exhibited that type of behavior, but nobody has ever known...until now. Oops.

Anyway, the fact that another co-worker was involved makes me think its a "guy" thing, and just let them be. Let them have their fun.

Wow! Was he on the jury? The judge I had when I was on jury duty would certainly not have allowed that. He was extremely strict about what the jury did and did not do. I think I would have said something to someone. When you are deciding a persons fate, you should not be distracted by making prank calls.

Who were you going to tell and what were you going to tell?
Your assessment of the situation leaves a good bit up for speculation. If he was calling a co-worker to see if the guy was at his desk, then he must not have reached him.

It could have been something urgent he wanted to tell this guy only.

Since you have no idea what was going on, you did the best thing, nothing.

I've frikking tell the foreman and/or the guard this guy is supposed to be doing his civic duty instead he's %^&ing around.

Jury duty I agree it's a serious thing. If I was up for some crime, I don't want this $%&ing pratt stuffing around, he should be frikking focused (or he should be excused, the stupid %^&*)

Sounds like the guy needs to get a life. It was maybe funny the first time or too, but people need to know when the joke is no longer funny..

Unfortunately, you are damned if you do & damned if you don't. If you let someone in charge know what this guy was doing [or what you think he was doing] you are being a buttinsky.

If you don't, then you are allowing this jerk to harass someone.

Either way you are in trouble & feel bad. Some people are just immature & stupid.

Any interesting points in this case? I mean....

Oh, I don't know what makes me say these things.

I just thought you were following the trial.

I called my lawyer and I opted out of jury duty.

Cheers

The judge should have dismissed him. Unless he has a medical Excuse then its an exeception. Stop being so nosy and do your duty.
