basically 5 months ago at work there was this chick who i saw for the first time, she stared at me quite alot, but we didn't talk.
anyway over the past few months i have to developed feelings for her and i was staring at her all the time and she was looking back on most occasions, but i didn't approach her. anyway the last month or so, she has been coming to work all dressed up and i can tell for sure she want me to come and talk to her but i dont have the guts to. she is too cute and really beautiful. Sometimes i think is she desperate to be interested in me. i dont want to ignore her or hurt her feelings so what excuse can i make not to ask her out ?

she is really into you, and is trying to impress you. give her some credit! if she is dressing up and constantly making eye contact, you shouldn't worry that she is too good for you, because that is obviously not what she thinks.
just wipe your sweaty palms on your pants and go start a conversation!

It sounds like you have a self esteem issue. You know what, I was in that girl's position once, but I didn't know it at the time. I had my eye on this guy at work. He was handsome, funny, and friendly. But he was a bit of a chicken. Eventually, I asked HIM out. And after choking a bit, he agreed. He later told me something very similar to the story you just told. But you need to ask yourself: Would it not be worth it to find out? If you really are into her and you are sure she is into you, you don't have much of an excuse. Besides, even if by chance she wasn't really flirting with you after all, women find it very flattering when a man is bold enough to ask her out. It lets her know that you think she is attractive.

Just do it. There is no one too good for some one. You set that standard. It's a psychological issue. Plus you never know when the world is going to end.

there should never be a point where there is someone better than the other... it's pretty much balancing things out... like... she has her flaws you have yours.. her flaws could be your bests... her bests could be your flaws... so don't make an excuse... your gonna regret not asking her out... =]... really..
