The items need to be light to post, not something which takes up a lot of time (like a book), but something pleasant or fun to recieve, and also not too expensive.
In the past I have sent funny cards, jokes, small packets of sweets, fun socks, plasticine etc. but I have now run out of ideas.
Has anyone got any suggestions?

Send some vouchers for her to get a treat with (HMV, Virgin or clothes shop gift cards) or make her a mixed CD with her favourite songs on, she can listen to it as she revises (if you include songs all the family like it will also remind her of home and loving family.) Hope she does well in her exams :-)

As this question is in the Jokes/Riddles section, I imagine it requires a funny or bizarre answer. If she's going to uni she'll almost certainly need an extra large packet of condoms, and possibly a vibrator for the rare nights when she doesn't take a guy home.

Chocolate, the good kind. A nice diary, maybe bound in leather. A quilt you made if you are handy with a needle. Handmade gifts mean more to me.

What a lovely idea.
What about making her a video with family and friends, wishing her well, words of encouragement. You could all sing a song, tell jokes, let your imagination go wild.
