It might just be because of the chemicals you put into it. Some cases of dandruff get icky [for example mine, I had to take a shower with some shampoo for 2 weeks and pills for a month]. Just try to give your hair a break from all the products.

Not sure how long ago you used the mousse prior to this application. Maybe the formula changed? Anyway, something mixed to cause your scalp to become irritated. Someone suggested using neutrogena t gel. That is the best option... It works really well. I would steer clear of using this mousse. Work with your stylist and experiment to see what works best for you. Not sure how often you shampoo your hair? But in between shampoo, get a multi bristled brush and put a stocking cap over it. While brushing your hair it will removed the "visible" dandruff from your hair. It may also be good to do this before washing your hair.

Buy a clarifying shampoo, lather and rinse twice. Your scalp could have a reaction even if you used the mousse before.
If the dandruff doesn't clear up in 2-3 days, buy a dandruff shampoo and use according to directions. If that doesn't start to work in a week, call a doctor: you could have a skin disease such as seborrheic dermatitis, eczema, or psoriasis.
