Breakfast is literally 'breaking' a 'fast' and important for your overall diet, feeling full throughout the day, and mental concentration.

With that said you don't need to eat a big or heavy breakfast to get the benefits. You might try fruit (2-3 strawberries / hand full of blue berries) and a small pot of yogurt. This combination is great nutrition, light in calories, and can give you just enough energy to start your day.

If you don't feel well after you have breakfast, I think you just should stop having it. Many people believe that eating breakfast is a must, but I think it depends on the person's constitution. Americans are just eating too much everyday. Even if you don't eat breakfast, no problem. Actually I heard that eating breakfast is not good for human's health in the long run. If you eat breakfast after you just got up, your colon goes numb and begins storing excess stools. It causes you to have chronic weariness.

Skipping meals isn't very healthy, but there's no rule that you must eat the moment you get up...I typicall am up an hour or so on week days before I eat (I workout first) and maybe a few hours on weekends...

Eating any kind of food for breakfast is fine, you don't have to choose from just traditional "breakfast foods"...just make it healthy and something that'll give you energy to start your day ☺

I love eating breakfast. It's probably my favorite meal of the day. Eating lunch for breakfast doesn't sound apatizing. And I dont think theres anything wrong with eating it an hour or two after you get up either.

Breakfast is the best meal of the day...Get your calories in the morning and you have all day to burn it off. Plus, You won't be starving by lunch and won't over eat at night!!!! It really helps you lose weight.

the fact that you are not hungry after sleeping probably has some correlation with your body composition and the amount of nutrients that you get regularly and the amount of exercise that you perform on a daily basis. very few active people do not have a healthy appetite in the am upon waking
