Oh! Breakfast is the best meal of the day! Just a bowl of cereal, a piece of fruit, a yoghurt or some toast is better than nothing!! DO try the Kellogs Special K Peach and Apricot - it is SO good!! Maybe try it first time not for breakfast just to see if you could have it in the mornings!!
If you really can't stand food in the mornings why not have a smoothie instead - innocent smoothies are the best and they have recently launched a breakfast thickie which is made with yoghurt and oats but you just drink it! Might be a way around the problem of not wanting food in the mornings and you'd still be getting some vitamins and nutriants! =)
Have fun and learn to love breakfast!! =)

A piece of toast or bagel, with a little butter, and sometimes some cheese. Always some juice and maybe some skim milk; and maybe some cereal. At about 10:30 I try to eat an apple, banana, or whole grain granola bar. I vary it from day to day, but always try to get a balance of these type items. I must admit that occasionally I will eat some peanut butter and crackers for a mid morning snack, as I eat a late lunch, and vary little at night, especially after 7PM.

It is better to eat raw fruit in the morning as this aids your bodies elimination cycle. Usually the most common time for your body to offload it's excess waste (the solid matter from the rear) is in the morning. By eating fruit you are giving your body a chance to efficiently offload what it doesn't need.
Eating anything else causes your body to stop the elimination cycle and start digesting what you are eating. This means that you are interfering with your body's natural cycle and will have a build-up of excess waste matter in your body which can, in the long run, lead to all sorts of problems and illnesses if not dealt with. Eating fruit will give you more energy too!
Also eating smaller meals more regularly throughout the day (i.e. 6 meals instead of 3) will cause your metabolism to run faster too.

I know how you feel about breakfast!
I usually open up the office for 8am, and I drive for 45 minutes to get to work, so it's too early 4 me to have brekkie;
however, I know that breakfast is important when trying to lose weight, which I am, so I bring in a bag of those new Oatabix, and a banana, or a sweet pear, or some other nice, soft fruit.I make tea as soon as I open the office, and slowly drink my tea while nibbling on the Oatabix, and alternating with little bites of fruit. It doesn't bloat me out, I feel satisfied, and only eat as much as I want.

As a balanced diet is important so too I believe is a varied one.
So, each day I have a different breakfast.
Today my breakfast was at 12 noon as I had a late night and ate cheese last evening which gave me heartburn!
Today I had a homemade smoothie. One banana, a handful of strawberries, a plain yogurt and some apple juice all blended together. Quite palatable and can be taken on 'the hoof'

I too never could stomach food in the morning and often didn't eat till about 12.30. I have put on quite a bit of weight over the years and was sick of the doctor telling me to stop eating too much and stop eating between meals which I did neither. Anyway back to the point, I started having a bowl of shreddies in the morning about 9.30am and they gave me energy and made me full up til lunch time with the added bonus that I shed some weight. Apparently going hungry your body stores fat because it thinks you are starving yourself.

I usually eat breakfast after I get to work - I hear that's not the smartest idea, but I hate getting out of bed in the morning so I usually pass up breakfast for an extra few minutes of sleep.
My breakfast used to vary - however, now that I've heard on the news that making toast promotes global warming, I'll be eating toast for breakfast every day. :)

I eat a variety of foods in the morning. I try to get plenty of protein to hold me til lunch so I am not tempted to snack, I also try to get a good source of energy and fiber.
Just some ideas:
Whole bran/wheat/oat cereal with blueberries or strawberries and skimmed milk
Poached or hardboiled egg(s) with a slice of toast and a cup of juice
Slim breakfast burrito: Scrabbled eggs (with eggbeaters for lower calories, etc) a couple of mushrooms, a teaspoon of salsa all wrapped in a small whole wheat tortilla.
Happy eating!

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
I usually have a bowl of cereal (high fiber), oatmeal, or cottage cheese with some fresh fruit.
On the weekends I usually have some eggs or an omelet with spinach & mushrooms.

I have half a bowl of Special K or Fitnesse topped up with a handful of raisins, and a few dried apricots or a chopped banana with a glass of orange juice. I don't really like fruit or veg and this is one easy way to get 3 of my 5 a day out of the way.
