Zip codes are referenced on which zone people live in a particular state/county/city. USA does not have a zip code.

Read below:

The ZIP code is the system of postal codes used by the United States Postal Service (USPS). The name ZIP, an acronym for Zone Improvement Plan,[1] is written properly in capital letters and was chosen to suggest that the mail travels more efficiently, and therefore more quickly, when senders use it. The basic format consists of five numerical digits. An extended ZIP + 4 code includes the five digits of the ZIP code, a hyphen and then four more digits, which allow a piece of mail to be directed to a more precise location than by the ZIP code alone. ZIP Code was originally registered as a trademark by the U.S. Postal Service but its registration has since expired.[

There isn't one zip code. There's one for each area of every town in every state. It depends on the location of the person you're trying to communicate with.

There are thousands of zip codes - even medium cities have several zip codes within the one city.

There are somewhere over 240 million people in the US - you're gonna need a LOT of stamps

um, maybe you should figure out who you want to keep in contact with first and then figure out the state and then go from there. um, and you are kinda confusing with asking that question.
