My ABSOLUTE favorite recipe is as follows.

Fire and Ice Salsa

You'll need:

3 cups chopped seedless watermelon (whatever color)
2 cups chopped Strawberries
2 cups chopped pineapple (optional)
2 cups chopped mango (optional)
2 Tbsp. diced red onion
1 - 2 Tbsp finely chopped fresh mint leaves
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
2 Tbsp Lime Juice (NOT from concentrate!!!!!)
2 Tbsp finely chopped jalapeno peppers (you might want to wear latex gloves while chopping those)

Mix well, cover and let sit in fridge for at least an hour so the flavors can mix together.

Everything can be done to taste, put in more or less of something. Maybe add another fruit that you like, oranges might be nice for example. It's beautiful and delicious and has SO many vitamins it's not funny!

Goes really well with chicken or even fish. Maybe throw some burgers on the grill with some corn on the cob... mmmm. So refreshing. If you don't like spicy, just cut out the peppers and it's still DELICIOUS!

And Macarnoi Salad

1 pound elbow macaroni (cooked, drained and cooled)
2 - 3 Tbsp Mayo (use the one made with Canola oil, it's better for you)
1 can green peas (you can use fresh or frozen)
1 can tuna fish, cut up
3 - 4 grated kosher dill pickles
salt and pepper to taste

Mix all ingredients well, cover and let sit for an hour or more. Again, everything is to taste. Add more or less of something... My mom loves it with chopped onions, personally I hate it... it ALL tastes oniony. Try placing a small bowl of it to the side to add as an option.

Have fun!

Make pasta salad with chicken or canned tuna. I like to get different meats and cheeses to make submarine sandwiches. Sometimes even a large fruit salad, cheese, breads would be enough for a dinner. If you do make any pasta dish, make it in the morning hours because usually it's not so hot as the afternoon. That way your salad can be chilling in the fridge while you are enjoying the day.

Grilling is a natural, but I also like anything that has a lot of fresh flavor. Fish tacos are fantastic! Marinate firm fish like tilapia in a mixture of lime juice and taco or fajita seasoning for about 20 min. Meanwhile, prepare the toppings. I usually chop fresh tomato and mix it with cilantro, a bit of minced jalepeno or serrano pepper, and some fresh mango. Once the fish has marinated, broil until cooked. Serve with warmed corn tortillas. This works great with a nice salad and maybe corn on the cob or refried black beans.

I buy barbecued chicken, you can heat if up in the microwave, make sandwiches or salad. Of course there's grilling, shrimp is great grilled with some vegetables for a change from hamburgers. Good old Jell-o and cool whip pies. And keep the Margaritas coming.

It's best if you can find things to make that don't require cooking or only a heat up in the microwave.
Salads are always good, and you can throw cold chicken or seafood into it to make a salad a full meal. One of my favorites is my sea leg salad.

Ingredients:
1 large packet of "sea legs" or "crab delights"
1 lemon
1 bunch fresh dill
2 stalks of celery
1/2 cup cooked peas or edamame
1 red onion and/or scallions (optional)
1 red pepper (optional)
Vegenaise (or Mayonnaise)
salt and pepper

Rinse the sea legs and shred them with your fingers in a colander. . Toss them with the juice of 1/2 lemon. Chop about 3 T of the fresh dill and the 2 celery stalks and add them to the sea legs in a bowl. Add old cooked peas or edamame (soy beans) and a bit of chopped sweet red onion and/or scallions if you like. If you want fresh sweet red peppers, add them. Add salt and pepper to taste and mix with the Vegenaise.
This is a wonderful cold and satisfying summer salad.

i think of a few warm products are plaid shorts and babydolls. And denim shorts i think of are continually in. once you're a sort of individual that wears denims for the time of the summer then carry on with the thin denims and heels. And lovable summer outfits for constructive. placed on lovable upload-ons to truly staggering clothing off, with issues like head bands, hair clips, relaxing makeup, colourful shoes.

I love summer, and the food that goes with it....
The PERFECT time to grill out....although some people do it YEAR ROUND...no matter how cold it gets....
I love grilled burgers, steak(with the grilled fat on it...yummy), grilled hot dogs, grilled chicken breast.....
I also like "cool" sandwiches.....when it is to hot to cook there is nothing like a good ham, bologna, turkey, roast beef, or chicken sandwich......or chicken salad....yummy again...
Also, watermelon, cantaloupe.......dang, I'm hungry ;-)

I serve salads, add some sliced grilled flank steak, then I wrap some of it up in a flour tortilla, others simply eat it as a salad. Alongside I serve blanched broccoli florets, blanched green beans, blanched cauliflower, carrot & celery sticks.
