I know a very godly woman who is a widow with a lot of kids and grandkids.
Everytime I see here she has the joy of the Lord and she shines like the sun in her face and she is so in love with the Lord and even served as a missionary for a while to Africa,
she is such a joy to be around and she is so beatuiful.
I want to have passion for the Lord that the joy of the Lord shows on my face.
I will be 38 in 2 weeks and as I get older and more matured and seasoned in the Lord I want God to be first in my life.
I am not an evangelist I am an encourager but I want to see people saved and living for the Lord.
My question is what are godly ways to have passion for the Lord and godly zeal for Him?

The last command Jesus gave was
(Matthew 28:19) Therefore go and make disciples of all nations......
Our purpose in this world is to live for God, and take up our cross daily. He's the reason we live and breathe and he has an everlasting love that is beyond our point of understanding. The God who said, "Let their be light" loves us so much that he gave his only son so that we could become closer to him.
Give him your heart, and let no one alter your beliefs in Him.
Spread the Gospel and let that beautiful light that he gave you shine!

Get very, very, very deep into the word of God. Meditation upon God's word will bring about great peace. Spend time alone with God, alone and away from the calamity of the world. Silencing yourself from the world and communing with God is more joyful than is describable

obviously if she has a lot of kids she had some earthy passion first. Why not try that for a while? Experience the earlthy plane while you are here.

Deny yourself on a daily basis...consider others better than yourself as you serve and pray for them....Putting on the mind of Christ will make us more Christ-like and enevitably we will feel more passion for Him.
