Free will opens the door for sin. But what is the good news that sin does not have to be the reason we are going to be separated from God in eternity. Jesus took care of the sin issue on the cross. His offer of eternal life is the same for everyone. Whether you accept it or not, the price has been paid.

It is between you and God. : )

I don't even know what Adam and Eve have to do with it. It's a typical case of product liability, every lawyer would win that case in a second. God is the producer, he's the only one guilty here.

I've never seen a product being blamed for anything, it's the producer's fault.

Ah, that's "original sin" for you.
The doctrine states that we are not born "neutral" but already "sinful" in God's eyes, having inherited something of Adam and Eve's sinful nature.

I'm not making this up. From the Thirty-nine articles, the official theological statement of the Anglican church:

"...it is the fault and corruption of the Nature of every man, that naturally is engendered of the offspring of Adam; whereby man is very far gone from original righteousness, and is of his own nature inclined to evil, so that the flesh lusteth always contrary to the Spirit; and therefore in every person born into this world, it deserveth God's wrath and damnation."
Would you believe it says...

I refuse to believe that the entire downfall of our species is due to a woman with an eating disorder that couldn't say no to an apple. Now if it had been the Chocolate Tree from Dora the Explorer it would be a bit more plausible.

It came about with Job. Satan didn't like him and wanted to test his faith and all that. So now everyone's got to prove themselves.
