For cyclists...what is your take on full fender sets compared to rear fenders that mount to the seat post? Do full fenders keep you considerable more dry, or just a little? Asking from a road bike perspective, wet roads and occasional puddles.

Full fenders do keep you a little drier than rear mount models. However, if it's raining, you are getting wet...period. The fenders help with damp roads and wet patches. This is nice on a commuter bike.

I really like the performance and looks of full fenders. Nothing beats a handcrafted bike with a fully lugged frame and full fenders.
