Your vegan buddy is not only a vegetarian, but also does not eat diary, and has other dietary restrictions. Be safe, get a fruit and or veggie tray, have bottled water on hand, and try the recipe below:

For a drink for your guest, go with a Tropical Fruit Smoothie. A yummy, vegan-friendly fruit smoothie made with tropical fruits.

INGREDIENTS
1 mango, peeled and seeded
1 papaya, peeled and seeded
1/2 cup fresh strawberries
1/3 cup orange juice
5 cubes ice

DIRECTIONS
Place the mango, papaya, strawberries, orange juice, and ice cubes in an electric blender. Process until the ingredients are smooth.

If you can't find the papaya and mango, substitute pineapple and another dense, pulpy fruit, or go canned! It tastes like a tropical margarita without the booze, and best of all, you can dump some booze in yours as an afterthought. LOL Good luck!

Well it is not a necessary social need to get your guest drunk your company should be intoxicating enough
You are wondering about what to serve a vegan
Just fol ow a vegetarian menu
don't include meat , fish , eggs or any animal protein buy some TVP . textured vegetable protein you can always add this to Chinese stir fry, Curries or Italian pasta dishes .
Ring your friend and tell them what you propose to cook and ask them if it is all OK if you've cook it and it isn't if it is really important they might like to bring there own after all they should warn your company more than the food and your not a restaurant after all are you ?

Surely you dont need to share the same taste in drinks and food to have a good time. Eat what you want, and prepare something vegetarian for your friend. As far as drinks you have many options....soda/iced tea/ even prepare your fav drink minus the alcohol. Depends on how strict of a vegan he is.

I have got a bottle of dandelion and burdock you can have. That with some delicately cut cucumber sandwiches should do nicely. You could play board games or cards to pass the time.Conversation would be great if you both have common interests to discuss.

If your good friends..then he's come to see you not food or any substances.

Don't worry :)
talk, laugh, watch a movie, play a game..anything that you'd usually do outside of your place.

Chips, Crisps, fruit, cakes etc are good to eat - or rice/pasta and something tomatoey too for eats.

Enjoy your night! x

Plenty of nice fruit juices on the market, vegetable juices too.Your mate might bring his/her own drink along anyway.Always worth asking in advance in future what they like if you're inviting them around.Hope you have an enjoyable evening.
