This lady keeps visiting me and she is a very sweet lady and brings The Watchtower for me to read. I read them and I agree with whats in them. I know there has to be something very different from your releigon than mine(Baptist, saved sinner)Can you please tell me what it is and why I am being told to run her off and tell her not to come back. I can't be mean to someone who has shown nothing but kindness. If I choose to not want her around what would be the best way to not offend her. Please share some of your beliefs with me so I can better understand the differences. Thank You!

Wow now I know why so many people tell me to tell her to go. Thanks Sceneofdarhyme for letting me know the major difference I know now that I do not want nothing to do with that. Heaven is a reward and Hell is punishment. The devil does come in beauty doesn't he! God Bless you all for helping me out with this. Hope to meet you all in Heaven! Oh to answer that question I know it was 3 Wise Men no need for e-mail, if I am going to tell my visitor to leave and come back why would I want yall to know my E-Mail Address?

The fact that you would read "The Watchtower" and agree with what's in it shows the danger you are in, and also how subtle the errors of The Watchtower Society are. Although you do have in common a belief in believers' baptism, that's just about the only thing you could agree on.
You have the Holy Spirit's indwelling, while that dear JW lady most likely does not. (Just ask her if she takes the bread at wine at the Lord's Supper - if not, she's publicly declaring she is not anointed with the Holy Spirit and has no desire, let alone hope, of going to heaven.) She has a lesser hope than you. She will never get to see Jesus or heaven. She has no assurance of salvation. What on earth can she offer you? Everlasting life on a paradise earth is for God to give to the meek, in his own due time, after he's created a new heavens and a new earth. God does not ask us to choose between heaven and earth! Jesus returned to heaven to prepare a place there for his disciples. How could any Christian consider that to be just for 144,000 people? Do pray for that JW lady and show her all the kindness you can, but please refuse to read any more Watchtower literature. Stick to your Bible. God bless you.

Well the identical approach that we've got a individual title and could love to be referred to as via our title rather of Man, Woman, Boy & so forth is the identical approach that God feels. Psalms eighty three:18 says "May individuals recognize that you simply, whose title is Jehovah,You by myself are the Most High over all of the earth." The incontrovertible fact that his title is recounted within the Bible indicates God needs his title to be identified & due to the fact that we're his witnesses or fans, we're referred to as Jehovah's Witnesses.

I agree with Webboffin about the account in Matthew 2 and the star of Bethlehem being the manifestation of Satan. The fact that the star led the wise men (astrologers) to Jesus logically explains it was Satan's attempt to have Jesus destroyed.
I do not understand Whatif's complaint about Webboffin's Bible. Unless Whatif has manuscripts in ancient Hebrew and Greek.

Deer Hunter you said: "I know it was 3 Wise Men no need for e-mail" in your additional comments in your question to Sceneofdarhyme's question, "How many wise men came to visit Jesus at his birth??? "
Show me in the Bible where it says three wise men visited Jesus. You will not find it. They were astrologers sent by King Herod to locate Jesus and there is no mention of how many astrologers went, only mentions three types of gifts they took with them of gold and frankincense and myrrh.
Matthew 2:7-9
Then Herod secretly summoned the astrologers and carefully ascertained from them the time of the star’s appearing; and, when sending them to Beth′le·hem, he said: “Go make a careful search for the young child, and when YOU have found it report back to me, that I too may go and do it obeisance.” When they had heard the king, they went their way; and, look! the star they had seen [when they were] in the east went ahead of them, until it came to a stop above where the young child was.
The star was a manifestation by Satan to guide the astrologers to Jesus.
Edit: The poster below me says I am wrong about the star being a manifestation of Satan and says scriptually it is not the case.
Well look at the scriptures I placed at Matthew 2:7-9 and use reasoning. the star went ahead of the astrologers giving them a guide to go. Why would God do that? Herod who sent the astrologers did not have good intentions for Jesus.
The star settled above where Jesus was and in the end the astologers had divine warnings to not tell Herod of where Jesus was.
Herod went into a rage because he was outwitted then went another way to try and destroy Jesus and killed every child under the age of two. The astrologers had previously ascertained Jesus to be at least 2 years old.
Matthew 2:16
Then Herod, seeing he had been outwitted by the astrologers, fell into a great rage, and he sent out and had all the boys in Beth′le·hem and in all its districts done away with, from two years of age and under, according to the time that he had carefully ascertained from the astrologers.

Webboiffn is correct with regard to the bible not specifically saying how many wise men were there.
However - with regard to Satan manifesting a star Webboffin is completely wrong - that can not be supported from any statement in the bible.
some truth and some error
Its interesting that they came up with their own version of the bible to support their beliefs. Their bible refers to Jesus as "a god"

If it were me I wouldn’t ask strangers why I’m being told to push her away, I’d just be questioning the people who tell me stuff and her. And you should only judge her by what makes sense to you, not the opinion of others. If you want to ask her to stop coming. Again why are you asking strangers for advice? You should speak to people as you would want them to speak to you, not as others want you to.
You’re kind of like asking random drivers for advice on what’s customary on the Road so as to become a good driver. Well I’d never just ask “anyone” as most people are rude and display road rage. My advice is make your decision based on “what makes sense to you”.
When Adam pointed his finger at his wife and said "she told me to". He died with her. If he had took some time to think for himself things might have been different.

They believe in works rather than faith. If your a baptist go to a baptist church the Cult Jehovah's witness want you to be come one of those ladies walking around to witness to people permanently not building a faith relationship with God but doing works of trying to evangelize.
The Just/Rightious shall live by faith.

Tell her politely that you are a Baptist, and you have no intention of changing your faith. Be polite but firm. If she persists, just say "thank you anyway" and swiftly close the door.
