I've just left a difficult marriage and intend to stay alone for a while before I commit to another man, I have 3 contenders chasing me and I like all 3. I dont sleep with any of them, I dont want to have sex until I commit. Is what I'm doing right or am I being unfair? I feel a bit selfish but I dont want to get hurt. Plus I'm too shy to just jump into bed with someone new. Help!

As long as you let them all know that you are still actively dating others, its cool. If you do that you are dating the way that it is designed to be done. As time goes by you'll see who you really like but as for now, theres nothing wrong with enjoying the company of friends that enjoy you. Honesty is the best policy.

You answered that yourself

"I've just left a difficult marriage and intend to stay alone for a while before I commit to another man"

You know that's what you want to do, so what you must do is say to these three men- very honestly and civilly

"I really like you but I just ended a marriage and I really don't think if would be fair either to myself or anybody else if I was to get involved with anyone for the next few months. Can we be friends for now please?"

If you say this, you take charge of the situation. If these men are only out for one thing, you probably wont see much of them anymore. If they really actually do like you, then they'll be happy to be your friend for that reason.

Whatever you do, do not play games with people's feelings- lead them on or use thier attentions to feed your bruised ego. That is not respectful, either to yourself or them.

Have fun. It usually takes more than one man to take care of all of a woman's needs anyway. Some are good at some things and not others that one of the other guys may be good at. You don't have to tell them about the other 2, men's egos can't handle that, but be honest and let them know that you are not looking to be committed right now.

First of all do they all know your not ready for a commitment? I think you doing the right thing you need to date around, and whether or not you jump into bed with any one of them is your business, you just need to use protection and be honest. If your not ready then they should respect you and not push the issue. I think you will be fine and you will find the perfect one for you. Good Luck to you!

There is absolutely nothing wrong with having several suitors at a time. I'm sure they're seeing other girls until you are ready to commit, so why shouldn't you see other men? You're not doing anything wrong or trashy. Have fun.

Good luck!

Good for you. Let them wait and show their true colors. You are being very fair. Give them six months then choose between who is left. You are a very lucky girl.
