And I do mean ALL. We make many choices everyday and sometimes the ought and the could and the should get shoved aside for many reasons whether selfish or otherwise.
Please think through this then answer.
Also, why don't we do these things if we know it is right?

I don't think that is possible. There are going to be times when there is a decision to make when neither of the choices are bad or wrong or even best, but both equally good.
We don't always do things that we know are right because sometimes what is right is not always what is popular, and most people are "people pleasers".

you presume that everyone agrees that you are perfect and we should all agree with your value system.
if i were King of the world it would not look like you want.
