There must be a reason that God, allegedly, created the World. There were no people before he was supposed to have created them. The only reason someone would create a world that revolved around pleasing him/her/it or else is egotism. They say necessity is the mother of invention, so what necessity would there have been for God to have allegedly created the world? The only intrest to serve was their own - no people, no need for obedience! This'll be intersting. I wonder what abuse they will hearl this time. And no I want read the Bible. I have no need to buy one you print more than enough of it on here thanks.

Doesn't anyone else find it annoying how religious people keep saying we will never understand God and the go on to explain to us exactly about 'his' nature and how all-loving, all-knowing etc etc 'he' is? How do they know this? From reading the bible? Well the bible believe it or not was written by PEOPLE, not god, and it's been modified greatly over the past 2000 years. Well I'm a PERSON and I'm saying the world was created by a big fluffy armadillo called william... why won't you believe that??

If God created the world and not the logos then it is only some sort of alien being or beings as something higher would have created their world, unless their world came about only through evolution rather than by a creator. I am more willing to accept the idea that something we could never comprehend created the universe and all of the dimensions. I am partial to the idea that there are multiple dimensions that we can access at different frequencies levels. The idea that summed up we are all God having an experience as separate entities is the easiest for me to comprehend, as there is no way I can create a hypothesis involving all of the dimensions I don't immediately have access to. I guess, really, the only thing that makes sense to me is that there is something we can't comprehend, which came into existence in a way we can't comprehend, and created things that we can't comprehend.

You have just barely scratched the surface of why we love Him so. Logically, there would have been no reason for God to create us. He has no insecurities. He has no need for companionship. He lacks nothing. He's perfect just the way He is, and was perfect just the way He was. Yet He chose to create us, and have relationship with us.
Here's the problem: we were created to fellowship with Him, and enjoy Him. We don't want to do that naturally. But that is our purpose by design. God is not egotistical. There has to be an insecurity to create that mental state. He knows who He is, and no amount of name-calling, doubt, rebellion or contempt will change who He is. He remains the same.
If you say you posted on Y!A, you are not being egotistical, you are stating a fact. If God says He is the Creator of all things, that's not pride. He is stating a fact. Giving us information. Supposedly, it will eliminate all confusion. But we don't believe Him, so we are fabulously confused about Him and creation. God does not give a rat's diddly whether you want to read the Bible or not. If you are His, He will pursue you with a great love. Do you think He doesn't know your end? He knows it from the beginning. He wants to make sure your end is far better.

Ok, that's Ur choice, but why ask a question here, when Ur just going to dismiss the proper answers U get??? For the record (as others may be really wanting an answer to this question) the World was created by God to solve the "Angelic Conflict". U see, when Satan became Arrogant thinking he was Better than God, he sinned! He was thrown out of Heaven but made an appeal to the Justice of God to create a Kingdom (World) that was populated with beings (Us) who had "Free Will" and could choose between serving Satan or God!!! Not being Omnitiant, Satan thought he could make everyone worship him, proving that he was Better than God. So, we were created by God to be a part of this conflict. God had other plans for us out of his Love for His creations. The plan was to send Christ to this world so that none of us would parish from our sinful state. Christ made the Final Perfect Sacrifice for this World so that we would not join Satan in Hell for Eternity! Our part is simple, just Believe in Christ & His Salvation work for us! NOT OUR WORKS, as there is nothing we could do to surpass Christs' death burial & resurection. And that's the way it is! John

People usually demand a beginning, so in the beginning there was a sea of spirit and it filled all of space. The spirit was static, content, and aware of itself. It was a giant resting on the bosom of its thought and contemplating what it is.
Then the spirit moved into action. It withdrew into itself until all of space was empty. In the center, the restless mind of the spirit shone. This was the beginning of the individuality of the spirit. This was what the spirit discovered itself to be when it awakened. This spirit was God.
God desired self-expression and desired companionship; therefore, God projected the cosmos and souls. The cosmos was built with music, arithmetic, geometry, harmony, system, and balance. The building blocks were all of the same material - the life essence. It was the power of God that changed the length of its wave and the rate of its vibration which created the patterns for multitudes of forms. This action resulted in the law of diversity which supplied endless patterns. God played on this law of diversity as a pianist plays on a piano - producing melodies and arranging them in a symphony.
Each design carried within it the plan for its evolution. This plan corresponds to the sound of a note struck on a piano. The sounds of several notes unite to make a chord; chords in turn become phrases; phrases become melodies; melodies intermingle and move back and forth, across and between and around each other, to make a symphony. Then in the end, the music will stop and the physical universe will be no more; but between the beginning and the finish of the music there was glorious beauty and a glorious experience. The spiritual universe will continue.
Everything assumed its design in various forms and their activity resulted in the law of attraction and repulsion. All forms would attract and repel each other in their evolutionary dance.
All things are a part of God and an expression of God's thought. The Mind of God was the force which propelled and perpetuated these thoughts. All minds, as thoughts of God, do everything God imagined. Everything that came into being is an aspect of the One Mind.

The short answer to the question “why did God create the world?” is “for His pleasure.” Revelation 4:11 says, “Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created.” Colossians 1:16 reiterates the point: “All things were created by Him and for Him.”

He wants to. He's a god. So, he'll do what he wants. And I'm pretty sure people will not understand if he has whatever reasons anyway since we are way too stupid.
