Some foods make you have lots of energy, then quickly crash... [Sugary foods usually] Try drinking a Jamba Juice smoothie with lots of fruit, protein powder and fiber and vitamins, watch how energized you feel!! Its like, WOW i can get thru the rest of the day... But if you eat a cheeseburger and fries, your gonna want to lay down...

Because the food affects our blood glucose. The more
carbohydrates we eat the more drowsy we become. You
may want to get your blood sugar checked if you are
extra drowsy and you haven't checked it for awhile.
Eat enough protein with each meal.
