I'm staggered that there are so many people in the general population who harbor and defend beliefs that are based on absolutely no testable evidence. Where does one go to meet fellow skeptics ?

They seem to be right here, sir. It is amazing how many people attempt to defend beliefs that have only their own sacred writings for evidence. But the fact is, there are plenty of skeptics, agnostics and atheists, as well as less well-defined mockers, in this category. Stick around!

We are everywhere. Just look for places where intelligent people gather, where people are helping one another without proselytizing, where the sunset is appreciated for what it is...a natural wonder....not a supernatural creation.
