First off I grew up as a Baptist, always believing in God & in the Christian belief, however now as I'm older & after being through multiple things I have lost my faith. My question is, if there is a God & he is perfect and does not make mistakes and he creates everything, than why is are world are from perfect? Why is their depression, suicide, homicides, accidents causing people to be disabled at young ages, homeless people, jobless people, justice system screwed up, innocent people being punished and everyone believe in different things? If he was perfect & doesn't make mistakes but made everything than why does everyone believe differently and why are their multiple religions & beliefs? Why doesn't god answer prayers that are reasonable & needed? There is no stories about religion that makes sense & does not defy logic, if you truly sit down to think about it. I think religion is a folklore passed on from generation to generation like santa clause, easter bunny, tooth fairy, etc.

If God was perfect than why am I ****** up mentally & physically. Why have I been in bad health my entire life? Why did I have my life turned upside down from what it was, including volunteering on a rescue team & working as a security officer full time, from an auto accident? Why hasn't no pray ever been answered of mine, including when I had faith & followed "God's Word"?

God is not perfect OR flawed because of this simple fact-THERE IS NO GOD. No loving god that I can imagine would allow the world to be in such a horrible state. And no loving god should give us the choice of either worshiping him and giving him money or spending an eternity in hell. That leaves a person NO CHOICE-which takes away free will. Basically people are "frightened" into believing. It's all a bunch of crap. I wish you the best of luck...

I may be wrong as some of my readers might feel so, but I strongly feel that despite all our highs and lows, joys and sorrows, pleasures and pains, gains and losses, we do not have the right to judge and question God's intent ever ! Yes, we have the right to question anything else if we might disagree but not God's intent, motives, desires or actions. This life is HIS gift to us all and therefore HE alone has absolute control over it, keep us the WAY HE likes and TAKE IT BACK when HE wants so, for HE is the sole GIVER and PROVIDER to us all and to the whole of this known as well as yet not known universes. And irrespective of whatever keeps happening to us and everything around us, we should simply go on putting in our best efforts utilizing ALL the talents GIFTED by HIM to us while at the same time staying unconcerned about results or rewards, good or bad.Only the best happens to us. Even if it sounds, looks, feels bad, being HIS gift, we should take it as the BEST we were ordained to be blessed with, by HIM.

Sin.
That is why.
In the beginning adam and eve sinned remember?
And since then God said there would be many things that would take place like they have because of sin.
That is why it is important for the gospel to be spread, that the word of God is heard because there is nothing more important than our eternal salvation in Jesus Christ. God made a way for us to be with him forever through Christ!

Well, it does sound like you've mixed up God with Santa Claus. When you pray, it's not supposed to be "God, here's a reasonable request - I really need this, that, and the other thing, and if you won't give me those things, then You're really bogus!"
Your definition of perfect is what would be perfect from your perspective. If you asked a little kid what would be a perfect world, he'd say one in which every meal was ice cream and cake and in which there was no bed-time, ever. The world is as it is. Accept it or rage against it. Oh, yeah, and if you rage against it, you'll twist your mind.

My answer to your question is YES. God is God, God is Perfect. And according to what I believe in...growing up as a Roman Catholic, YES there is God, because afterall, why am I striving to live a meaningful life, if I don't believe that there is God. But with the inperfections of the world, I cannot blame it to God. I believe that when God created this world, it is not perfect yet. God created this world out of something that is chaotic, creation which means that God puts order to chaos. So it is never perfect that is why, creation is still going on....because the world is not perfect yet, but we are leading forward to that perfection in the Kingdom of God.Our lives here on earth is our contribution to that creative building of that Perfection we are seeking always in life. This I belive is the design of God's creation. But as God is with us, as we creatively co creates this world, it is as I belive never the will of God for human beings to suffer. Depressions, suicides, accidents, does not come from God. But since He created as humans as rational being, with freewill, there are things in this life that we live that is not the will of God,sometimes causing ourselves or others creations to suffer. It is us human beings who decide how to live this life. Why blame it to God. He already gave us our freedom, it is us who can also free ourselves from all this sufferings. God is not an angry God, a God who is happy to see His children suffer. He is a God of love, that is why, He always allow us to grow, to think,to decide and to be responsible to our own actions....

God isn't perfect. He is highly flawed. He makes a lot of mistakes. The first mistake was kicking Lucifer the Arch Angel of White light out of the heavens, God's multiple mistakes, letting other Arch Angels leaving of their own free will because he could not make nice with them because he had to be the one with sole power. Thousands of more Arch Angels fell from grace and then God's biggest mistake was labeling them ALL as the devil and creating his best tool.....fear.

God made man with free will. Man messed up, not God. Who is to say that your life won't turn around tomorrow, or next week. God can use any one of us if we let Him.

God is perfect, WE are not. We were created to be servants of God, and through prayer, we can get his help to make it through life's struggles. We are aliens of this world, for the devil is temporarily in control of it, until Christ returns. Therefore, many disasters, suicides, homicides, etc. occur, but through prayer, He protects his flock. So if you truly believe you need not be afraid, for your time here is temporary and short compared to eternity in heaven.

this goes back to adam and eve, if eve wouldnt of sinned we wouldnt sin either...but since eve sinned and enduced sin in adam then the we must live in sin....and if we all live in sin then their must be something called free-wil, if free will didnt exist then we wouldnt sin bcuz were all being controled by god.with free will we decide wuts right from wrong and therefor many ppl do wrong bcuz of free will.
