No, but they will. They'll act just like the Jews did and say this guy is a nut job who's blaspheming the bible. They'll say god doesn't do that anymore... Jesus is the only way... God's word is unchanging... blah blah blah...

But if you tell them that Jesus' followers did the same thing to the ORIGINAL bible (Tanakh), then it's okay, because they were divinely inspired and witnesses to the word.

Paul is like fair to middling used car salesman. He stomps on the truth in order to aggrandize himself and his product.

1 John 3:24b-4:6

"And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit which he has given us. Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are of God; for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit which confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit which does not confess Jesus is not of God. This is the spirit of antichrist, of which you heard that it was coming, and now it is in the world already."

This has happened, many times. It's called cults. We don't judge them -- we just keep reading the Truth.
